Areas of interest and ongoing research:

In November 2013, I defended my PhD thesis about the associations between physically demanding work and the process of ageing. It can be downloaded here.

As of April 1st 2015, I am working at the Research Unit two days a week, doing research and participating in the administration. Apart from that, I teach at the Research Training, work as a health coordinator in Region Sjælland (Region Zealand), and work as a temp in a general practice.

In my research, I currently continue working with data from my PhD study with a focus on other measures for the ageing process, including measures of chronical inflammation and self-reported mobility. I also participate in the planning of the population study on Lolland Falster (LOFUS), and I am the representative of Copenhagen in the Scientific Committee for WONCA 2016, which will be held in Copenhagen. Lastly, I supervise several PhD-students.
