Description:

The lecture will focus on the research and the implementation of collaborative care for common and also for severe and enduring mental health problems - and on how one has failed to keep pace with the latter in the UK. 

About the speaker:

Linda Gask has been involved in many research projects about collaborative care in the UK and will present her experiences to us.  

She trained in medicine at the University of Edinburgh and in psychiatry in the North West of England. She was a 2000-2001 Harkness Fellow in Health Care Policy based at the Center for Health Studies in Seattle. She has also worked as a consultant for the World Health Organisation and has been a zonal representative for the World Psychiatric Association.
